My work looks to capture Provincetown. I employ a semi-abstract, impasto palette knife technique not to claim detail but to invoke a mood due to the region’s ever changing light. Although the subject matter of landscapes have been seen to by master’s that have painted in the area, I feel it is fitting for modern painters to find their own voice in an unending location of inspiration.
